CASE STUDY – GATEWAY COMMUNITY LEARNING PROJECT

We helped Surrey Care Trust on their Gateway Allotment Project at Earlswood in Surrey. We taught their clients and volunteers carpentry and gardening skills on the allotment, as well as sharing coppicing and woodcraft skills in nearby Felland Copse.

This green social prescribing programme was funded by the Surrey Heartlands Nature Connection Fund. It helped people with low level mental illness improve their physical, mental, emotional and social health and wellbeing by connecting them to nature.
